I bought one of those 11.99 frames. Not 100% convinced it will arrive though!

I just had dispatch note for a NS Majesty frame and 26" Enigma Roll wheels and an Eccentric Cromo frame all at £11.99 each, so hope yours comes through too

Not super cheap but half price Giro Ride shorts (£55). Just picked up a pair and they make nice gravel shorts as they are shorter and less baggy than mtb shorts.

You made me look on the px website. On one scandal frames £199

https://www.planetx.co.uk/products/on-one-scandal-ltd-29er-mtb-frame?variant=43837913759974

Helmet white/red lights £2, 59g 6hr run time.

https://www.planetx.co.uk/products/planet-x-super-mini-2-way-200-lumen-bike-helmet-light

Was tempted to buy some lights but the £6.99 postage put me off. Must be spoilt by the £20 free postage chiggle offers.

Yeah just looked, and it's gone. Was there earlier, must have been the last few in stock.

Wow solid frames NS bikes.

The Eccentric Cromo is verging on a high end finish. I've had both the alu and cromo. The alu ones are lighter but more industrial looking with rougher (functional not bad) welds. Both ride well and have decent enough geometry!

Was looking for a half decent pair of pedals to go with MsGinge’s surprise new bike and though £17 (plus £5 postage 😢) for a pair of DMR V11s in tribal blue was pretty good going now that all the crazy CRC pedal pricing has gone.

Those v11 pedals are brilliant.

Buy a few at that price to make the postage worthwhile.

Wiggle have some Transfil outers too - https://www.wiggle.com/p/transfil-gear-casing-50m-box

SRAM DB8 brakes £57 front and rear. Seems a bargain to me.

https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/p/sram-db8-hydraulic-disc-brake

I've just bought a set but Knowing my luck I'll have accidentally bought just the compression washer or something.

Anyone looking for a decent AM 29er rear wheel, the M1900 rear wheel looks a good deal (only 6 or so left):

https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/p/m1900-mtb-rear-wheel?color=blackgrey&freehubBody=Shimano+Micro+Spline&wheelSizeAxleSpacing=29%22

Its down as 37% off but the RRP is actually £270 and not £180 so its more like 60% off. Not the lightest out there but 30mm internal and DT Swiss quality plus 6 bolt, not centre lock (which is bonus in my book)

If microspline isnt for you, I'm pretty sure the very reduced standard HG freehub should fit as Ratchet LN:

https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/p/dt-swiss-370-ratchet-freehub-body

They also have the front but not such a good deal given the RRP is as it should be:

Yes still a good deal although at one stage, the pair was £140 in MS.

Yes I paid £65 for the front wheel at one point and £99 for the rear, so prices have been on quite a journey.

That's right, the price was changing daily. The front was £65 minus ten provided I bought X3 NP shorts at £5 each to get to £75 😂.

But the code didn't work for the £85 rear...

Still, £140 is silly.

Is this for bike stuff only?

It fits the "may not be amazing enough to warrant their own thread" part, anyway 😁

Happened to notice that Tesco Cheetham Hill are giving away bags of daffodil bulbs, if anyone local wants. In the doorway, bags of 40 bulbs, normal yellow or mixed, help yourself.

offbondage lights are great here you get 2600 lumens for £14 !

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005131609883.html?dp=1c009gjvhigm&aff_fcid=34fa479422ff417c97692dc73c935492-1704465717863-01201-NUUJNoAU&aff_fsk=NUUJNoAU&aff_platform=promotion&sk=NUUJNoAU&aff_trace_key=34fa479422ff417c97692dc73c935492-1704465717863-01201-NUUJNoAU&terminal_id=158572442a3747feb5ade00e8777a5c1&afSmartRedirect=y

Thought I'd follow up on this one. Looked like what I wanted to leave bolted to my town bike. There's a few output options, I went for the smallest. When I clicked through I was offered an introductory price of 44p! Great, even if its rubbish that's fine. They then added 9p for postage. Problem was you can't pay under £1 with paypal. Found a little USB front/rear light emergency back up set that I also wanted. Grand total exactly £4 for everything posted. It all arrived at the weekend. The usb lights are nice, perfect to stick in a pocket and get you home just in case. The offbondage light is quite good. Well made aluminium housing. Obviously not the 900 lumens claimed but very, very bright and well worth the non offer price. I think it might actually be too bright for what I wanted it for on the road. Its all or nothing with the main light, no dimmed option, just 1, 2 or 3 leds on/off. It does have a cut off beam pattern though so I'll see what the pattern is like and maybe give it a go. If it is too bright it'll be a back up night riding light. Happy with the purchase so thanks for the PSA.

Did you get them? I got a dispatch note, but they never tracked with Parcelforce.
Just had a refund notice

Looking in eBay some people received them, one guy with a huge pile of wheels

Same situation for the Majesty frame and wheels. Refund on items but not the £20 postage cost so will be following up about that. No word yet on the Eccentric, but I'm expecting same thing to happen with that.

Friend had 2 wheelsets cancelled. He's still waiting to hear on an Eccentric frame too.

Thought it was too good to be true, was surprised when I got the dispatch notice tbh.

Cheap dropper at Ribble £40

150mm drop 30.9.

Brand is level which I've never heard of but could be worth a punt as a spare/cheap replacement.

> https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/p/sram-db8-hydraulic-disc-brake < Bargain set of brakes. I've got these on my beast of an ebike and they are plenty powerful enough. Bought some for my hardtail. There are some other cheap, lower end Sram and Shimano brakesets on there too.

Those DB8's don't have the bar clamps - so factor those in to the overall cost.

Following on from the Mammut mention, SportPursuit still have some sizes left of the Sccarpa Trek GTX boot at 50% off.

https://www.sportpursuit.com/catalog/product/view/id/1853405

I bought one pair from Cotswold Outdoor on sale and was impressed enough to buy another pair alightly cheaper from SportPursuit. I do use some Superfeet insoles, which added to the cost, but the green ones match the boot liner color, which is nice!

A lot of the paths round here are pretty rocky or rutted and the the gras paths can also be rutted up by illegal motorcycles and these boots have helped massively with ankle/foot stability compared to my previous fabric Merrell Moab IIs.

Use Scarpas HS12 cream to keep them in good condition and water repellent.

Interesting package arrived with my £57 DB8 brakes in - rear is just the brake and some caliper bolts - Lever disconnected, but no thingamajig to reconnect when cut... Front has a 200mm rotor included (they retail at about £25 on their own!), plus the bar clamp and is connected up.
Few more parts than I expected for my dosh, so that's nice.

Had something similar at Christmas, had all the bits I ordered plus a random Brand x headset I didn't order (It's got terrible reviews and feels like the bearings are rolling on sand), but no Haribo!

Guide REs (old code caliper on guide lever) £42 an end on tredz. Often pop up £5 off £50 coupons when visiting the site too.

Already my go to brake for vfm and ridiculous at that price.

If you want ridiculously good braking for very little dosh, then I'd heartily recommend the Tektro Geminis for £59 a full set at Merlin.

They look and feel like a slightly less refined version of the TRP Slate Evos.

4 pot calipers, and they come with adapters and 2 x 203mm 2.3mm rotors.

Couple of things to bear in mind:

The rear comes unattached with olive, etc in the box, but with a right hand lever.

The front is attached Euro style to a left, so you will need to swap them around.

Also the front hose was a little short at 800mm. I swapped it some spare Shimano hose I had.

After a little fettling and a bleed they are damn good brakes and for £60 Inc rotors they're amazing 😎
