Found the Topeak MTX EXP trunk bag reduced to £30 at Halfords. Don't know what it's like, thought some of you might want one at that price.

That's a good price and mine seems to be working out fine, with the drop down panniers able to swallow up an awful lot of stuff. Slap it on a compatible rack and at the very least you'll never be left wanting for rear-end traction...
I got one a while ago at about the same price and these things are massive.
Like has been said, they have drop down panniers. I've not used mine yet as I have full panniers, but I got it because it was a good deal.
I've tried it in the bike as I have the correct rack so it just clips in and the only thing I found was it covered the rear light on my seatpost completely so, when I use the bag, I will have to move the rear light.
These are excellent commuting bags, great for picking up shopping on the way home. Mine is used a lot, although I have the slightly bigger one
I've just fitted a super tourist rack to my CX bike and I'm in the look out for some bargain panniers.
I understand there is a bigger version of this but would This do me for odd commutes? I basically just want to be able to put my work gear into when I just feel like taking the bike instead of the car.
I can always have a shirt / trousers at work but if I have nothing there Would this swallow a pair of shoes, trousers and a shirt plus a bit of food?
I have the lager version, it's lager by having a expanding top. I fit food clothes shoes and water proof in it without expanding the top compartment. Only really expand it to get kit in for bivi packing.

That's a great price. I prefer the version without the panniers, personally, as the rigid pockets hold tools, a lock and a coat all the time. The mounting system is excellent and I swap mine between rack on the trike and beam rack on normal bikes regularly. No complaints.
