that looks good for convenience (especially if driving solo), but I can't work out if you get a discount for having the tag.
looks like there is a charge for buying the tag, a refundable deposit and monthly service fees (per month you use it, capped to €10 per year), all on top of the toll fees which are the same as you'd pay.
Hmm... seems like a lot to pay for the convenience, but I'll probably do it anyway.

Been doing this for years.
Best advantage is at the height of summer, it allows you to jump some big queues using the tag only lane. 😀
Does it work for the autoroute blanche, or is that a separate system?
that is the only place I've ever had a big queue - I tend to drive in the middle of the night which dodges the worst of it anyway.

When we started using it you got a discount on the tolls iirc of about 7-10% so it paid for itself.
I did hear they were stopping/reducing the discount but its so convenient having the tag, haven't bothered checking it out
Works on any car, so family etc have used it, obv. paying my cc bill when it arrives
I looked at this when we went in August, it works out far more expensive both compared to pay as you go and to what the Frenchies themselves pay. Another Euro-tax on us Brits.
There'd have been little benefit for us as we hardly queued at all, except at UK immigration at Calais, but this won't help with those useless bastards

useful for me though as i drive in france on my own a reasonable amount, in a RH drive car. t'is a right hassle leaning over and paying.

i was/am on the French system, looks like they are stopping us Brits from using that and now a UK co. is going to handle it at increased cost.
I'll see if/when they cancel my existing tag or at least tell me about it, til then i'll stay with the French.
