Got myself a dirt cheap XTC frame so have been looking at cranksets. Evans have the S1400 2x10 170mm at £79.99 and using code Sale10 its further reduced to a smidge under £72. Reasonably light at 890g with BB, add another £10 for the 175mm but I have only got little legs 😀
Might save someone some money as they are over 100 notes everywhere else.

So if I switch from 3x10 to 2x10.... do I need a new front mech? Or is it a case of re-setting the high/low and not using the 3rd position on the shifter?

3 speed front mech works fine, just set the limiter screws 🙂
