it's often 40-50% off direct from SIS with codes, but yes at ~59% off that's a real bargain.

A fair point Bob.

I've only recently started dabbling with the stuff.

I find it very convenient and at 50 pence a serving, cheaper than a pint of milk.

SIS are the DFS of sports nutrition. Never paid full price from them 🙂

When i'm travelling for a ride I find a tub of recovery drink much easier to transport than a chicken and oven for some reason.
Also, i'm sure you realise that one of the proteins found in milk is absorbed much slower than the whey typically found in a recovery drink.

I'm the same. But it's always the same inevitable responses whenever anyone brings up protein powder, recovery drinks etc.

Spartan Protein, Torq and Hi5 all work for me.

😆

I like the choc flavour and often keep a pre-made bottle in the van for after big rides.

Tend to have choc milk at home instead though.

I'm a big fan of the SIS recovery bars. I don't care if it's only in my head. I don't ache the next day.

Often with a 50% discount direct from SIS.
