Whether you like the "paid" app or not, I just thought that I would point out that contrary to what their support forum tells me, V4 maps upload and work nicely via wifi so there's no need to duplicate maps you already have. Nice.
Yeah v4 maps work perfectly. Shame you can import them into viewranger though.
not got the app, but very interested as I have all the 'normal' maps, how do you transfer the maps to the correct location for MM to read them? (idiot guide?)
you have the maps on your computer hard drive
and the iphone app uploads them onto your phone via wi-fi
very easy
Can you give a bit more detail on how to do it as I cant see any way In the app to do it.
click the map folder bottom left
click the more maps icon top right
then click add maps via wi fi
follow instructions and open web browser
