Folks, does anyone have any advice on alternative routes down the devils staircase route into Kinlochleven. I'm hoping to avoid bombing down the landrover track.

Go do the backwater dam descent? turn right on the fireroad follow all the way to the dam. Cross and ride the descent the other side. Dunno why you'd go into kinlochleven otherwise.
