Just to let everyone know that this weekend (1st and 2nd Aug) there is a motorcycle event in the forest on both Saturday and Sunday. According to the Dyfi Mountain Bikers web site the forest will be closed but the notices in the car park only state that there is an event on. If you have a choice you might want to plan to ride there on a different weekend.

Just been up to check and the forest is going to be closed from 08.00 on Saturday until 17.00 or so on Sunday. So if you were hoping to ride the Climachx this weekend you'll have to make alternative plans............
Is this related to the event near Anglers Retreat? We noticed lots of arrow signs and tape marking out the usual MX trails in the area on Weds. One of our lot said there was an event coming up.
No its purely in dyfi forest,anglers retreat was last weekend - considering the mtb dyfi enduro is such a good event the motorbike enduro is pants - the same old ruts and rocky trails year after year, shame really considering how much forest there is to play with
