Had a ride round Grizedale today to find that the Bridleway from Hazelseat to Low Dale park is closed and blocked by what looks like a blow-down of the pine trees at the side of the trail. Fustratingly, the closure signs are only at the top of the fireroad climb from the woodyard. We walked round the blockage hoping that the trail would clear, however it is completely blocked all the way to the fireroad at the bottom of the descent 🙁

We were up there on friday, looked like something out of an end of the world film!! We tried following the wall on the left which was no fun, then jumped up to the right and went down the loggers trail which was ok once we got to it. The follow diversion sign was interesting as there was no diversion!!
