Sounds great - never bivvied before! Anyone got any tips on which bivvy bags/kit to buy?

I have always fancied bivvying but have the most basic equipment (a tarp, a stove and a sleeping bag) so as much as I love the sound of this, I wouldn't want to make a cock of myself.
I may also be working that night!

Hi Whitbeam and Althepal, I think that most people will only be able to carry the basic kit on their bikes. So, hopefully the weather will be good,i'm sure mistakes will be made, but lots of laughs to be had and stories to tell.
