I follow Morzine Source on Facebook and they posted yesterday that a new blue link route from the top of Chavannes lift in Les Gets to the base of Pleney has just opened.
We are taking a family holiday with riding days in a few weeks and this will be very very handy I suspect, avoiding the need to use the road or the sketch red, which may or may not have been cheeky in places.
With the new blue being graded family friendly, On the French scale, it does have large berms and tabletops.

Ridden it a few times this week. Gets a little muddy in a few dips between table tops and it's fairly rapid so make sure the little ones have good brakes.
Starts swoopy and flowy, becomes a bit steeper with big berms and tabletops. Then becomes a bit meh in the final cruise into morzine. Better than the road and overall good fun.
