Not mine I hasten to add... just thought I'd share out of interest sake! 5 minutes to go and it's at £674... ebay linky thing...
not really my cup of tea to look at, but a beautifully built bike. my Trek EX9 frame went for 550, so thats daft money for that frame!
£763... man, if I was only a little bit taller! or it was a medium... what a bargain that was eh? 🙄
Crazy bargain............
A reasonably good buy at that price, but hardly a 'crazy bargain'. £763 for a frame with uncommon proprietary parts which may be very hard to replace, and very expensive, is a fair price I'd say. About a quarter of it's original price maybe, but the problem with such things is that not many people would be willing to take a punt on it, for the reasons I've outlined above. That's more a 'collector's piece' than something a person would want to build up and rag around. It's pristine condition is testament to the fact that it hasn't been used much for it's intended purpose, certainly. 2 dry rides? I doubt very much that the seller bought this new at full RRP, more likely they bought it at a knock-down price from a shop that had had it knocking around for ages unsold, and wanted shot of it at a loss. Might even be a shop trying to get the best price on a demo frame.

As far as I know, it's a full custom frame guv, only made to order for each individual, not an off the shelf jobbie... I don't think a shop would have one 'knocking around' 😆
Laundrymike didn't he used to frequent this forum, thought he worked in a bike shop?
Ah, so possibly more likely one that had been ordered, but the person never collected? Paid deposit then changed their mind.
I can't imagine the person bought this at full RRP (around £3000?), rode it twice and is then willing to take the risk of selling it on Ebay. Unless they had more money than sense. The description doesn't strike me as one written by someone who would go to the lengths of having such a bike made up.
