From what I could find on a google image search the Black/White are far less foul!

If you think these are bad take a look at the rest of the Fly Racing gear on CRC. 😐

I have no shame, have purchased 🙂 if they really are that terrible when the packet is opened then they'll do for winter riding, or crappy weather commuting

worst case scenario involves posting back and refund...

I assume CRC are paying you 12 quid to take them off their hands? That said I bought some of the really quite purple Scott shorts this summer which I teamed with a fetching bright blue mavic jersey at the passportes so perhaps I should shut up.

When you've got fat men in lycra and stormtrooper armour to compete with, a bit of blue/purple clash is nothing. I barely noticed!

Bit of a power ranger look isn't it...

What inside length do you guys think they are?

These come end at the centre of my Knee cap

http://www.btwin.com/en/cycling-shorts-bib-shorts-and-jerseys/cycling-shorts-and-short-sleeved-jerseys/17869-black-blue-all-mountain-shorts.html

The Endura 3/4 shorts just about cover my Knees which is ok

ordered the black/white in 34 and praying its these

[img] [/img]

and not these

[img] [/img]

saying that they'll just end up black/browny-green after a few rides in the mud on the DH bike! 🙂

look like they're reasonably long and baggy cut for wearing with pads

I couldn't give a **** what they look like they seem to be an absolute bargain.

Don't get hung up on the fact that in ANY kit you look cool on a MTB with a stupid helmet on your head and bright red cheeks sweating lots.

marc - a quick look has left me with temporary blindness and wondering who on earth (except maybe mr motivator?) would wear this thing in the 'wild' colour scheme!

Sure.... Endura Singletrack II shorts. Why would you need anything else?

[img] [/img]

As a rule of thumb- anything crazily low-priced in bulk tends to be crazily low priced for a reason.

From memory about £40. You couldn't pay me to wear those linked as not only aesthetics, all of us like to wear shorts that you are not conscious about; the ones on this PSA look like they are unwieldy/stiff and thick material.

you'll love the fact these are my other shorts
Apart from the goping colourway/stripes- I imagine the fabric/thickness etc on the legs is different. The Hope ones would be easier to ride in.

Well, they're certainly "flash" and best worn with a plain black top. Look really well made though, have a good waist clasp and on first inspection better than my TLD Sprint and Dh shorts. Fit perfectly too.

I got some of these in the sales, but not had the confidence to wear them yet as I'm normally a black shorts person...

[img] [/img]

But I definitely couldn't pull those Fly shorts off...or on for that matter!

DGAS what they look like, tempting, anyone know what the fit is like? I'm 32" waist but weird shape so most stuff tends be a bit tight in various areas (cue larger sizes and waistband bunching) tempted to go 34" or 36"

lol that's exactly what I thought when mine arrived this morning! They seem really well made though so can't complain considering the price.

I'm a 32" and these are pretty close to what a 32" should be, i.e. not a 36". I'd say they're a 33"!

Deffo a bit Power Ranger, with a dash of Transformers, but for £11...

I've got a few pairs of loud shorts, but they're goping. But for £11 who cares.

And they'll never be unfashionable like fluro / plaid shorts.

Are the super thick material, ie for downhill gnar only, or could they be worn on a normal ride?

If only the crotch detail were a big moulded skull or some sort of gung-ho Americana. It'd tone them down a bit.

Mine arrived this morning they are a-mazing like a cross between my One Ind Gamma shorts and Endura DH baggies. The black/white are these:

Hip pads, a sticker and even a hanger! Wohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

^Got mine as well, really pleased. construction seems solid, like they'll take a lot of knocks and scrapes

For me the only down side is the colour scheme matches my Royal racing sp247 jersey EXACTLY

Je suis full kit ****er 😳

Got mine this morning, really well constructed, solid stitching and solid material, weight medium heavy pretty similiar to troy lee motos so fine winter trails and will get hot on summer days, size is accurate as I got 34 and 36 ....and at a 34 36 too big...ordered one pair black and one white,,,,no difference 😕

tried them on said to SO what do you think, fine okay better than most you have...... 😯 which ones, says I.....eerrr the purple ones...... 😕 they went back as they were too purple and enduro and the others from the black or black or black or the other black ones pair I have? 🙄

SO never notice what you are wearing.............

they are fine if a bit white,
