is it stuttering for everyone else?
Yes but I live in halls and I believe they throttle back the connection, its especially prevalent in the evenings when everybody is watching iplayer.
no stuttering for me
stuttering for me
He's so modest.
that interviewer is annoying though ๐
"i just ride my bike" Love it
Comes across as a nice guy.
That smile after he does the front flip. You can tell he rides because he wants to, not because it makes him famous or makes him money. Hope he stays that way.
fantastic that
what a cracking role model for all the young uns......... 8)
Great stuff. Annoying is not the first thing that sprung to mind re the interviewer ๐
That was a pleasure to watch: So nice to see someone genuinely doing something because they love it, rather than the fame or the money it attracts.
Thanks for the heads up trickydisco. I enjoyed that.
He does seam like a good guy.
Awesome stuff. Interviewer: Can I come to one of your parties? Ha ha - er, yeah!!
She can come to one of my parties if she wants ;0)
Inspiring
Very good wee documentary . The crash of the top of the phone box and the one on the pipes looked sore. He seems a well grounded lad so I cant see him changing , Also good to hear him not use words like 'Sick', 'Gnarly' etc etc like so many downhill and free riders do . Beautifull scenery as well makes me want to hire a camper and hit Skye..
13,000 miles in 2 and a half months!
I'm just back from the showing in Edinburgh.
It was a great night, top film.
Danny was there, getting photos taken, looking a bit embarrased by it all.
His manager Tarek Rasouli spoke, he's in a wheelchair after breaking his back in an accident.
There was money raised for the RedBull wings foundation which raises money for spinal cord injuries.
Great night and really sound to see someone make it big for just riding their bike and doing what they love while still being so down to earth.
I was also lucky enough to win second prize in the raffle (hoodie & t-shirts, the 1st prize was an inspired bike)
Awsome night.
I love the reaction of the general public, watch him launch off a bridge and as he lands you see people running to look over the side of the bridge etc, seems like a really nice guy, lucky with the camper not tipping over though!! The front somersault off Edinburgh castle was just breathtaking, like the fact he is human and has doubts/nerves etc when trying something new.
Ran into Danny in iCycles in Innerleithen once - genuinely lovely chap. He'd just been out for a spin down some of Steve Deas new tracks. Talk just as excitedly about riding some of my local trails as I do... brilliant.
Didn't catch this last night - hope it's going to be available for download/watch some time soon. I could watch that boy ride all day.
