For those Bristol-types who ever fancied having a dabble at CX there are several races held in your fair city over the autumn/winter. The first takes place in Purdown on Sunday.

I'll be there, probably on the borderline of death from hangover as usual (although at least it isn't the day after the Bath beer festival this time!) Some others from the LVIS lot may be putting in an appearance too.

Is it wrong to be getting really excited about suffering horribly for an hour? ๐Ÿ™‚

Not usually, but this venue has a 'reputation': Short, so more laps than is standard, and an evil hill to climb. Many, many times ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

See you there - be sure to say hello.

But how long before the start do you need to be there?

For the last race of last year (at Conham) we got there about 5 minutes before the start! But I'd say 11.00 would be politer...
