Got the rt66 rotors in the deal above.but what turned up was the cheap made in china stamped rotors .yes there rt66 but they look like there made out of chocolate not ss so there going back.
Doesn't say resin only on them like budget Shimano but God the quality is horrendous
I got a new bike in April, it came with made in China RT66 rotors, they seem to work well enough.
The surface is so smooth I doubt a pad would ever bite ,its like the surface of a can of pop shiny silver very smooth. They look, like they've been dipped in a coating as you can see areas that haven't covered .
I knew shimano moved production of some rotors to China but didn't expect this poor quality
It puts me off using the site because the filters are so bad, trying to find the right fork with so many options is somewhat difficult!
When I was looking for new 29er forks everything was out of stock. I can sell a pike for £150 (stock arriving soon) and get 1000s of clicks and revenue from ads. Can you filter to remove items not in stock? I gave up in the end
Edit: gave it another go, found the "in stock only" filter. Not many bargains left now
Can't filter Rotors by size either, I keep finding more and more things that irritate me with their god awful user unfriendly site.

all rotors i`ve ever seen are shiney and smooth. especially after use. even the ones on my van!
but didn’t expect this poor quality
Impressions are often deceptive.
Eg people don't like plastic things because it's not as strong as metal.
People don't like glue because screws/nuts bolts etc are better.
The rotors you have could just as easily be an improvement over our a retrograde step from the ones you had. Try them, see how they are in use, return them if they're rubbish, they're a working part and appearances are largely irrelevant to actual performance.
fully loaded vitus gravel bike? dropper, suspension fork, dt swiss wheels, £1099
seems absolutely bonkers at that price
I'm really struggling not to buy a 2020 mega frame.
Would someone please buy the two XLs left in stock, that or convince me they're utterly rubbish.

Bloody hell that Vitus gravel bike is a steal, with the RS suspension fork as well.
If I didn't already have the Ragley Trig at the same price, I'd be all over that.
yup had to stop myself.. i've got a digger with similar spec.. definitely don't need it 😛
There must be a huge amount of over stock floating around in the bike industry!
I wonder if this is the fallout from orders made back in lockdown?
@cha****ng
Only issue for me is rotating the cage & jockeys out the way to remove the wheel.
It doesn’t seem to give as much space as my SLX & XT 11sp mechs.
Possibly user error in some way though?
User error. But easily done - have a look at the position of the stop. I had the same issue.
I wonder where these Fox 36 factory came from. Stickers are blue, so presumably was meant to go on a blue bike. Only thing I can think of is NP Reactors, but they’re now 150mm front.
Yeah mine makes a click on all adjustments.

Cheers, thought it must be.
Amazed it still works so well when fitted wrong then 😀

OEM job lot somewhere, they've often sold OEM looking forks with stickers that colour match full builds from other brands
@northersouth cheers, also strange the travel seems to be 150mm too. Typically I cut the steerer before I noticed the lack of clicks and travel height. Will contact wiggle for their input.
Just read the specs carefully on a lot of those Fox forks - the descriptions are terrible and they have mixed up Grip, Grip2 and Fit 4 dampers a few times.
They also mix up the difference between Rhyth, Performance and Performance Elite too.
Hmm, Blackline Trail Pants or Endura Burner, both a good price, both available in my size. Anyone tried both?
I have both, although my Blacklines are older ones from a good few years back, both similar fit, Blacklines a bit slimmer, but more stretchy,
Blacklines much lighter, Burners the ones I reach for if it's wetter as they don't wet through from puddle splashes as easily, Blacklines the ones I wear most often as they're light enough even when it's warmish
Blacklines have lasted amazingly well, no rips or wearing thing despite their advanced age and light fabric, Burners also good as new apart from a peeling label, but they get less use
Burner have a plastic ratchet strap closure, so a bit less light and comfy compared to the Blackline
Bought the DHB 15lt rucksack for 25 GBP.
Arrived today - it's going back. I suspect it is exactly the same supplier as my Lidl one. Compartments are the same, material is the same - colour is different.
The Lidl one was 12.99
My ebike loves to stretch a chain. These fit mine a treat and at £11.99 are an absolute bargain. Luckily 118 links is exactly what my bike needs 😎
All these deals and yet nothing on the one thing I really want - a Vitus 20+ in red for my daughter’s next bike. I should have bought one last time they were on offer for £220.
Sent the blue blacklines back - now have a wonderful pair of turquoise and purple Enduras
Ooh that Sommet frame then, seems like a great price with the shock included too! Off to read some reviews and find my credit card.. if I get the 275 version I can probably chuck all my 26" stuff on it if the bb wouldn't be too low with a 170mm Lyrik..
Don't hold your breath if you have ordered a bike. CRC now use Parcel Farce for bike deliveries who seem as efficient as ever. I have been waiting for a bike for ten days now which is moving around their network with glacial slowness. It takes 2-3 days to cover each stage. Currently it is waiting in the delivery centre about eight miles from my house where it has been for a day and a half presumably waiting for the horse and cart. If it doesn't arrive Monday, complaints to CRC. I wouldn't feel so annoyed if I hadn't had to pay for this 'service' . At least smaller stuff is free.
If it is just 8 miles away, are you able to go collect? Doesn't help but may get the bike sooner...
They didn't tell me this until after the depot had shut (to customers) for the weekend.
Thought this was pretty good

£85 is not a bad price
Parcel force weren’t perfect on my delivery either.
dispatched Thursday, processed Friday. Out for delivery Saturday - I ignored that - I’ve never had a parcel force delivery on Saturday that I didn’t pay through the nose for. It was then due Monday with a delivery slot, I wasn’t in so chose to delivery 2 working days from then. I make that to be Wednesday, they do maths differently in parcelforce so it didn’t move from the depot until thursday. No time of delivery though, Sod’s Law it would probably come while I was on the school run. As it happened I ran into the driver in asda car park and he was happy to give me the box after I’d given him a few details as it saved him driving down the lanes to get to us - he’s a good egg!
The frame (Sommet) is lovely btw, was immaculate. Headset seems pretty rubbish but it will do. It’s mostly built now and I can’t wait to get out on it.
Ended up ordering a Sommet frame 🙂 now stressing about what parts will fit, I didn't realise boost cranks were a thing too!

Fitting a chain device, in my experience can be a bit finicky with non boost cranks. At least that’s what I find with my Saint Cranks on a boost frame. Moving the non drive side bottom bracket spacer to the drive side helped.
Bought an X01 mech and GX shifter as spares "just in case".

26" wheels may end up a bit close to the chainstays at the BB end.
Remember that silly cheap Seam 12 speed cassette a week or so ago? CRC are convinced that Hermes have lost it so have given me a refund 🙁

Ah balls, really? How come, do the chainstays really pinch inwards that much so close to the tyre? The 2020 Sommet 27 complete came with 2.5 tyres, mine are 2.35 which I used to run in a 650b YT Wicked frame no problem.
Ended up ordering a Sommet frame
I'm desperately trying to find an excuse not to buy one(or the nukeproof carbon(£499-with a shock that retails at 350)
At least with the nukeproof i dont have a suitable fork, but by gum its a hell of a deal.
I ran 26" wheels on a 27.5" Saracen full sus for a while after a warranty replacement and it was fine. Barely noticed when I eventually changed to 27.5.
I didn’t realise boost cranks were a thing too!
It depends on the brand of crank - Shimano has different cranks, SRAM you just change the chainring.
@_tom_ this is the 290 chainstay, doesn’t curve much - assuming the 275 isn’t a million miles off you’ll probably be fine unless you run really wide tyres

Plenty of forks in the sale too 😈
