Those blackline trail pants are good, could do with being longer but then pretty much all mtb trousers are like that, bargain at that price

I have M8000 XT on my bike, will the M5100 rear mech work? (11spd)

I assume it’s a slight down grade but £15 v £75 for a new M8000 it’s a down grade I could live with!

Yeah it works very well.

Only issue for me is rotating the cage & jockeys out the way to remove the wheel.

It doesn't seem to give as much space as my SLX & XT 11sp mechs.

Possibly user error in some way though?

@greentricky I'm looking at buying the same bike, what is the sizing like? At 178cm I'd normally go for large, but noticed the sizing guide suggests I should go for the medium. How have you found the sizing? Cheers

My order arrived today, Deore mech for emergencies even though I've already got a spare XT and SLX, it'll probably end up on my brother's bike,  Ragley wiser bar is quite a nice find for £30, nice looking bar, interesting graphics locations, it feels just like the original Nukeproof horizon.

@blake I would say sizing is large. I am 188cm and long legged and have the seat pretty low

Tempted to go for the 220mm rotor just because it would look good!

I've got Cane Creek Helm MK2 forks and I can't see a maximum rotor size, just a minimum which is 180mm which I currently have.

Is it just a case of getting a 40mm adaptor (if such a thing is available) and mounting the new disk?

Yes, as your fork is already a 180mm mount it means you won't need a special adapter. Just use a 200mm post to post adapter (i.e. a +40mm mount).

Followed my own PSA and got the Fox 36 Factory. It's different to the product picture and is definitely OEM stock - didn't arrive in Fox packaging.

Still, a great deal.

Does anything from CRC ever come in proper packaging? I'd say more often than not it's just in a clear bag

Seems the serial number on these Fox 36 doesn't work, or at least you can't look them up on the Fox site. Odd. Anyone had this before?

They're a bit more stretchy and not so lightweight IIRC.

Would certainly recommend at that price.

Anyone bought the Nukeproof Blackline trousers in blue recently, and able to comment on whether the mediums are still too small - like the blue ones I bought last year?

@chakaping I have some being delivered tomorrow so will let you know how they fit, I can just about fit in the old mediums, but if they've slimmed the cut it will be touch and go

I can go one better than Blake - I accepted the hit of sending one pair back, have blue medium and large in my hands.

"M - regular" :
Overall length outside seam: 108
Inseam length: 82
Waist: 43 relaxed / 45 full stretch

"L - regular" :
Overall length outside seam: 112
Inseam length: 84
Waist: 46 relaxed / 48 full stretch

Measurements in cm, velcro waist adjusters fully backed off.

Mediums are bob on for me and I usually take medium legwear in cycling, generally something like a 34" waist 32" leg in everyday trews.

Just had the medium black line trousers arrive - surprisingly they fit me alright. Prob generally wear a 33-34” waist / 32” leg trousers normally (chinos / jeans etc). Waist on these is fine and leg length seems good. Just need to check my fox launch knee pads fit under them - if so they’re ace

The newer blacklines are truer to size, I've older Small in blue that are a tad tight and Medium that are near perfect with the slightest velcro adjustment, but when I ordered the new string colour ones I found the Medium was just too big so returned for Small which are perfect for my currently 33" waist and will still be good when I lose an inch, thanks to the adjusters.

Thanks folks.

So it sounds like these blue ones are back to the original (perfect for me) sizing, and there was just a rogue batch of smaller-sized ones last year.

There might be some deals but they're almost impossible to find - what a god awful website/s they have become. How the mighty have fallen.

@joebristol how thin are the blackline trousers? I have some Endura Singletrack which I love, but they are just a bit too warm for summer days. Which is a shame because the nettles and brambles this year are brutal around here!

these are a bargain for £35 - ive got a black pair i paid almost RRP for last year, and they are so damn comfy, excellent all year round trousers - only downside i can sort of say is when they are wet they get heavy and pull down a bit, but generally i never ride in biblical rain so its a not a massive issue to me

absolute steal at £35 and the blue colour is nice too - great PSA thanks

The new website might be a bit cack, but it's offset by the big discounts for me.

I'm still happy to load up on £15 derailleurs and £35 trews.

@steamtb

The only trousers I’ve got to compare them to are Endura Singletrack 1 trousers which I have here. The black lines are definitely a lighter / more breathable fabric than the endura ones. If they fit my knee pads underneath I’m going to use them riding on the weekend in the rain - so at least at the end of my ride I can take the mud off my legs  to make it easier to change. They say they are water proof but it’s just a DWR coating so I’m assuming it’s not going to be awfully effective / will wear off in a few washes but that’s not what I bought them for.

Did anyone here pick up a set of those £300 Fox 34 forks? If so how did they arrive (OEM packaging I presume)?

It's just annoying you can't even filter wheels or forks by wheel size.

I got a set ofthose Fox 34 performance forks, they're excellent, with the grip damper. Came in plain box with cable clip. No complaints.

It puts me off using the site because the filters are so bad, trying to find the right fork with so many options is somewhat difficult!
