*slow claps*
[grump mode]Given he makes his living from riding bikes long and hard, thats exactly what I'd expect of him, so not sure why he deserves a mention for doing his job, any more than I do for raising an escalation complaint with BT in my job.[/grump mode]

Something to do with being a 4 times TDF winner. And thousands of people being interested in his progress and training.
Let us know how the complaint escalation goes I'm getting excited to hear all about it 😆

Cheap jibes about his asthma woes are usually lame, but this is rather well done.

Meh, power and hr data stripped out (as expected) so not really of any interest at all

Reading some of the comments makes you understand why pro’s don’t go on Strava

Some very odd comments!

Odly though not one negative comment or advice on which inhaler to use

Bonkers though. 140 miles, 7,000ft climbing avg speed 24mph 😯

Lazy bugger, in the 3 weeks data available he has gone out to work under 10 hrs first week, under 32hrs the next week and so far under 8 hrs this week!!
Of the 21 he follows 3 logged a Christmas day ride while he sat with his feet up.
Wonder if they go underground at times like us kids do to try and shaft a mate!!A few year back I went out Christmas day for an hour while everyone got ready before lunch, then uploaded it at 7 pm , my mate was devastated as he liked to top the rides list and had no time to react, still mentions it now!!

I did that in the 10 days over Christmas and New Year and I bet I had a lot more wine and cake than he did too! 😉

Admittedly I was on holiday somewhere warm and sunny but it's amazing the mileage you can do when you have nothing to do other than ride, eat, drink and sleep!

Edit again, it’s there on some rides, not all.

Avg Hr 110, max 152. On a 6hr, 140 mile ride at 24mph avg 😯

My resting hr is 90....

But is that solo or in a group ride?

That's got to be group surely. 110 must be zone 1 for him, 24mph average in hilly terrain and zone 1... not human (or drug free anyway).

Just because an athlete isn't logging Strava miles doesn't mean they aren't working does it.

Plus he probably gets time lieu as he works weekends on the grand tours 😉

It's zone 2 - Strava tells you if you look (his max is only about 165).
Still, 24mph solo in Z2 is pretty awesome.

He might be logging the miles on Strava but making the activities private.

7000ft climbing in 140 miles isn't hilly! In proper money that's 2133m in 225Km so just 10m/Kilometre. It's not quite Cambridgeshire flat but it's not far off.
