Checked my current pair, I'm a 33" waist and they are large.
Rolled the dice on some camp black shorts, can always send them back for free if they're no good. And a new gilet, mine is a bit tatty after it fell out not my pocket on the way home from work last spring, and i didn't pick it up until the following morning.

I have a couple of Endura shorts (can't remember the model), one pair in large and a pair in XL. I'm 36" waist and the large are a little snug (and a bit shorter than I'd like).

yup will be at least last years if not older, but that only matters if you only want the latest design/colour
