Oreet Glenn, apparently they have a couple left at the Speke branch if you really want one pal, even if the missus dunt end up wearing hers im sure I might just need it one day, ( Especially after the tree incident yesterday) Lol

I've just acquired a green helmet - there were 4 mediums left on the shelves in the Charlton store.

..Do you not wonder how naff you will look in your cheap green helmets?

With last years Belkin bibs, Rapha CX jersey and Aldi gloves - all it needs now is a PSA for some minger shoes and the look will be complete 😀

Not to be outdone, despite the Stoker definitely not suiting my noggin I popped into Halfords at Manchester Fort to try a Catlike Leaf.
Result. Even if it is "that green" it won't be worn on the MNPR's and it looks a damn sight better than the Stoker imo.
They looked to have plenty of Stokers (like 10-12 out that I could see) but I bagged the last leaf! 🙂

Hora had tracked down some bargain Lycra on CRC. It was cheap because it was white. I reckon that would complete the ensemble admirably 😀

Tried one today and it was really wide. Wobbled side to side would have done me a mischief in an off.
Saw 2 today when I was dog walking on the south downs. They do look good.

Stokers also in Cardiff, only large tho. My daughter ended up with some other Bell job, cost £27! I feel ripped off!

What you need is a head like a bowling ball. They fit really well then 😀

Got one today from Shoreham By Sea Halfords - they've still got 2 large ones in store.

Now I look like everyone else does that mean I can join the singletrackworld club?? Spending more time on this forum than I do out on the trails!

yup, me too, got one for the missus, and because they messed me about a bit with the original order (not really much of a mess) I got it for £15 8) result!

Oh and Wigan still have a large in stock for all you 'Mellon heads' out there 😆

Yay!!

passed another Stoker owner yesterday morning, we both looked lovely in our matching green helmets.

If you're on here it was in Moutlon, Cheshire 7:30am ish 😀

Gutted - tracked some down but they look like a naff Star Wars rebel trooper's helmet (episode IV) on my Hovis shaped bonce. Lots in Redhill if people still looking.

My medium is up for grabs in Edinburgh if anyone wants it, none in the shops (and doesn't quite fit me).

Cynic-al - yours isnt by any chance too small for you is it? I've decided that mine is too big and will either sell it or swap it for a medium.

It only just fitted (I measure 59cm iirc) but there were a couple of pressure points and I don't really need it.
