The missus has converted her old gravel bike to more of a winter road bike - basically by putting 650x43 slicks on instead of the 650x47 gravelkings it had previously.
What proper mudguards would fit that nicely? I've got chromoplastics on a couple of bikes with 700c wheels, which have been fine. The actual OD of the 650x43 isn't so different to my 700x28, but obviously a good chunk chubbier.
Thanks....
All fancy metal ones but Freshtripe have several 650b mudguards (they have a bit of a 650b thing going on for all stuff)

SJS Cycles have Giles Berthoud, nice but fancy stainless steel.

700C guards of differing section widths within a brand are all made to the same wheel radius curve afaia. So I've found 55mm section guard for 700C tyres tend to fit 650 x 47 to 50mm well. If you fit them carefully and rigidly a 50mm guard will cover 43mm tyres but the SKS style internal stay mounts eat into sidewall clearance, less rigid generally also - can be a PITA vs the external mounted U-shape type that VO and others use.Â
I've just taken delivery of some Sonder Defenders on my new Camino, they seem pretty solid and come in two widths
I have SKS Bluemels on my Van Nicolas Amazon. The 53mm work equally well with the 650x47 and 700x40 tyres I use.Â
