I have an RP2 and never turn the propedal off does anyone else bother using it or do you just accept a slightly bumpier ride?

I feel no need for propedal on my suss bike, which happens to be a single pivot.

Ride would be less bumpy but more bobby, going from PP to non PP Shirley?

I tend to leave the pro-pedal off on my 5 unless I am either on a road, on a pedally fire-road climb or if I am going through lots of dips and twisty turny bits - sometimes the extra compression damping helps.

It used to have a Float R which has permanent PP changed to a RP3 which has a switch. So yes no PP = A bit of bob especially in the big ring, not a pogo stick but it's there so I just leave PP on all the time.

I have an RP2 on my TranceX, and never feel the need to turn pro-pedal on. There's no rules, it's just whatever works with you bike design and style of riding.

But a trance isn't single pivot... ๐Ÿ˜›

On the RP3, pro pedal is always on, its just on to a greater, or lesser degree, depending on the setting you choose.

Propedal off all the time on a Five. I hate propedal, makes every bike I get on feel fidgity and nervous...

Umm must be the exception here, as I never turn it off PP on my RP23's (usually run in the level 1 PP setting) - prophet & superlight.
Though have bought a Pushed one for the Prophet, but haven't been anyway to test it out properly yet.

I seem to either keave it on or off. I'm not good at rembering it

But I do need it on the road. The bike is better with it off on rough terrain

Yes mine is a single pivot, but linkage driven

I tried both yesterday which got me thinking about it. With it off all the little bumps went away which felt a bit weird and disconnected and there was a little bob but nothing terminal (it's an RP2 not a 3 my mistake) with it on was bumpier for sure but also seemed a bit more lively, maybe I just don't like plush...

I'm happy with it on but just interested in what people with Hecklers, Fives and the like do with theirs..
