Following on from an earlier thread on import duty...
If (and it is a big if) you receieve a warranty replacement bike from the States / Canada would you need to pay duty / VAT on it. My guess is that it is not a purchase and so long as duty was paid on the original no further duty is needed.
What if you don't have the receipt for the original or the duty paid...
