Have a 1995 Rocky Mountain, purple, badges, plastic tiki from nz on head tube, a bunch of scars and memories of thousands of miles.
I am building it back into life as a ss or a 7 speed.
Do I strip back and go powder coat it or ride it scared, purple and proud?

No to powdercoat, it's your heritage ride it proud and keep the memories alive, if needed clear coat/varnish to preserve it
