Does anyone feel groggy the day after a ride?
I went out for a longish hard ride yesterday and I've woken up today feeling a little off colour.
Anyone else get similar?
Dehydrated? Enough calories on board? Recovery drink or similar?
Yup. Did a long one (by my standards) yesterday and feel a little out of sorts.
I drink something to recover straight away (usually chocolate oatly) and then eat within 2 hours and usually I'm fine.
Depends how hard the ride was. Muscles aching all over today from hauling on my bars for four hours - all part of getting used to singlespeeding ๐
Yup was on a tough ride yesterday,4-5 hrs, lots of climbing. Feel a little rough today, I usually get that after a ride that is over 30 miles though, just not fit enough yet thats my prob ๐
Feels like the start of a cold but I get it so often that I know its not.
So sounds like people have a routine post ride. Choc milk really that good? Anything else I should try?
I know if I really push myself (either faster or longer) I feel worse than if I just do my normal ride
