after a huge delay (to fetch someone from the station) the cancelled ride got rescheduled at the last mintue (sorry Stu!)

still, turned out to be an ace ride in the Wyre Forest

That is the "Pentlands Shore". Here's another pic of it:

It's not that exciting - it's a walkway over a raised peat bog and it's a tad naughty on the bike (so I only do it when there isn't anyone around).

We rode in Bettystown before lunch and mid-afternoon. We, i.e. my sprog rode and I walked/ran. It was fun though. Will repeat next week. Time to bring a non-steel HT out?

7.30am today: Charity Lane (top of Macc Forest) still snow clogged. 100ft altitude lower down it was almost sunny. I even had shorts on!
