I'm from Morpeth originally

I grew up the road in Longhorsley. My mum and dad now live near Duddo - and are completely cut off with about 2ft+ of snow. It gives my dad plenty of time to laugh at the South's flap over a couple of inches ๐Ÿ™‚

No pic. Sorry.

Just perfect

Ghetto Spike tyres out back thanks to STW

A great ride was had, just shame it was only along cycle trails and canal sides.
Not one skid or slips even when out of the saddle.

Just after the snow got too deep to ride in, skis would have been more useful today...

From yesterday, we walked from Winterburn up to Weets Top. Pic looking to Barden Moor and Sharphaw near Skipton. The snow was thigh deep in places.

//edit// that pic is a bit small, first upload from flikr

some of the singletrack was unrideable as were most level and uphill sections due to the deep snow (up to 2' drifts in places). Downhill parts of Italian Job and high-as-a-kite were fun though :o).

My little juvenile C. darlingi.
I've not seen her for nearing a month as she has been hidden away in her burrow so I got quite excited with this. ๐Ÿ˜€
