Good work that man. Mine is yet to come.
Bravo that man! I'm working up to a 100 miler, but I'm some way off yet
That's over 160 km. Well done 😉
Congrats. For me the best bit about a 100miler is lots of food and drink with zero guilt.
I just ate a whole large papa johns "The Works" pizza 🙂
Only problem is I'm off to a neighbour's party now. I'll be asleep and dribbling by 9pm
Here's the ride: http://app.strava.com/activities/28056159
Good effort, always satisfying!
Good effort! Not a bad speed either!
I bailed at 89 miles today, now you've made me feel bad for not manning up and getting the last 11 in
Well done, shoulder ache was my biggest prob after my 1st, legs were fine, make sure u drink plenty and eat something salty if you're prone to cramp
Well done, it's completely meaningless but well done all the same.
Well done , I just gave you some Kudos . I've still to do a 100 miler but did 75 the other week so hopefully its not far away.
Did you bleed?
Well done.
The last century I did I was mahoosively unfit and did it over the yorkshire moors, ended up swearing to myself up the climb from Sandsend then got home to find my computer was reading 99.8miles!
I bailed at 86 a few weeks ago after doing 12 miles sold into ridiculous head wind stood up doing 11 mph ! It zapped all our strength and it started absolutely pissing down so we stopped ! Regretted it later being so near!
Now you just need to sign up for a 100m plus sportive eg Fred Whitton, Etape Du Dales etc.
Sportives are cheating though, drafting, feed zones and way marked route? Solo, self supported and navigated are where its at 😉
Well done that man!
I'm impressed your phone stayed alive for seven hours with gps running....!,
DrP
For a fella from Reading that's pretty good 😉
Did you bleed?
Theres always blood the first time
Nice.
You'll be hooked now.
Thankfully it's slightly better for you than heroin.
Well done.
Well done 🙂 I too manage to achieve triple figures for the first time after entering a 100 mile epic sportive which was actually 98.5! I was going to give up at about 83 miles but manage to dig in. Got back to where I live and realised I was still 3 miles short so had to ride out of town and back in!
