Our partner Yellow Jersey is curious about how well-known they are in the Singletrack community.

And yes, we've run this poll before. This will help us measure if anything has changed. Participating in our polls are a way of supporting Singletrack. No personal details are sent to any of our sponsors. They get to see only the same results that you do.

D - I had never heard of Yellow Jersey until the last time you ran this poll.

But also - what happened to the poll on bike insurance that I saw a little earlier?

Do they do insurance cover for culinary mistakes? I was thinking it might be useful if you gave somebody the skin off the rice pudding and they had expressed a dislike for it..

This. For which there is no appropriate option on this poll.

D - We will continue to run the same poll until our overlords get a 100% hit rate in box A.

Come on STW, you used to be better than this.

The bike insurance poll is still there. If you scroll to the bottom of this thread you will see a link to it. I only like to have one sticky poll on the forum at a time. Don't want to clog the top of the forum up too much. When this one has had it's time I'll sticky that one back up there, but it's still live in the meantime.

Another D....so don't really feel any of the 3 options hit the spot for me.

But I'll gladly press whichever of the 3 actual buttons is financially most advantageous to you.

F. I've heard of them but not too familiar with their products becuase every quote i've had from them has come about around twice of what alternative providers have offered.

I couldn’t tick any of those boxes

i did a Google search in the past ,  they came up , I did a quote that was expensive

so I know who they are but not in great detail other than they are expensive

I was a B for the previous survey, had heard about them but had never investigated their services.
However this time round I am an E - I am aware of YellowJersey, not their detailed services, but based on the pretty negative feedback on this thread the last time, I am not going to bother to look at their service provision and will look elsewhere.

Not sure that helps with YJ marketing or how STW presents this feedback. I have seen nothing from YJ here subsequently that would persuade me to change my perception

That's because they've cross-matched your/FunkyDunc's details (or generic STW user) with responses on other threads about that time you broke your leg doing something silly at Affan, needed a heli-evac, and are now almost uninsurable

F: I've heard of them but would never use them as the cover and requirements are poor and waaaaaay too expensive.

The comments on the last poll from people who used them put me off ever wanting to get a quote from them too.

The cynic in me wonders if this was why the previous poll/thread was pulled…

I’ll get a quote when my insurance runs out because they sponsor STW.

I am however as tight as a gnats chuff, so if they are more expensive than some other place I probably won’t use them. If they are close I probably will.

I got a quote last week but it was too spicy, ended up putting my ebike through my home insurance for an extra fiver a month.

I added my e-cargobike to my pedal cover home insurance and the quote didn’t go up at all! I  think it’s the most expensive bike I’ve added!
