Looking at getting some of this for a bit of protection, is the sizing as accurate as the charts say?

Size pretty accurate. V2 kneepad locking velcro around the shin /legs is pretty tight though. Well unless you have skinny legs. My waist line is 30 .medium size fits me well. CRC sizing pretty spot on. This velcro can be sorted by sewing another velcro to the existing thingy (sorry my english is elementary) . My legs are more comfortable without it to be honest.
