Looking to get the Spine VPD Tee.

http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?PartnerID=371&ModelID=36860

http://www.biketart.com/collections/body-armour/products/spine-vpd-tee

There's a massive difference in price here - are they different?

Hmm - I wonder if Biketarts have listed the price of the VPD Vest instead of the Tee?

http://www.thebikechain.co.uk/store/product/22811/POC-Spine-Tee-2010-M/ - £224

http://www.thebikechain.co.uk/store/product/22814/POC-Spine-Vest-2010-M/ - £159

+1 for thebikechain's comments. Really well made stuff, well worth the money.

Am going to be getting a POC helmet for next ski trip!

I've been wondering how these vests work in spine protection terms. The plastic pieces on dianese type suits prevent the spine bending to far when you crash. As far I as I've seen/read in the blurb these would only stop an impact to the spine.

Do they do a normal XC bike helmet? (Actually more of a Giro Xen extra coverage type thing?). Something vented rather than a FF or a piss-pot?
