Anyone used both? PNW say maximum tyre size 47mm, SKS says 50mm.

Logically, the PNW should give better clearance due to the over guard stay I would have thought.

Going on a Camino V4 just in case anyone has first hand experience.

I put a mini review and fitting pics of the Edge 56's on an old thread a week or two back for another user (different bike) in case it helps.

You will probably find some comments on the PNW ones in the same thread iirc.

Don't ask me what's up with the formatting above.  It looks fine in edit.

I’ve had Edges . They’re fine. I think I’m going PDW next time. Stay positioning, hardware etc just look usefully better than the Edge even if the price does make me wince. Hoping to not regret it when I do.

Thanks @garage-dweller. I thought I remembered such a thread but the search function wasn't up to it.

I had always understood that the PDW guards should be quieter/more stable in use as the stays are thicker, and thus stiffer.

Not sure if that stands up to proper engineering but I do know that my PDWs have been very sturdy and trouble free over the years, I don't tend to look elsewhere any more.
