So I currently commute to work on an Orange P7 with slick tyres, pannier racks and full mud guards.
I also have a woefully under used road bike.
My commute is about to get a bit longer (currently only 10 mins each way) to about 10km with the option to detour through some woodland CX style…
Would the Planet X London Road make sense (with selling the P7 and the road bike) for me?
Want the pannier racks for the commute, and mud guards are a definite bonus.
If anyone has any real world experience of the bike, that'd be great too.
I wouldn't ride through a wood, CX style, with mudguards.
Other than that, it's a lovely bike.
If the London Road had been available last year when I was looking for a new commuter, I would have bought one instead of my TCX SLR 2.
As Brant says, full mudguards off road is going to end badly.
