Any recommendations?

It appears he's at a difficult size, too big for children's sizes, needing an S or XS mans.

Good call. I forgot they do delivery, my nearest store is about 2 hours away so I tend to forget to check the website

Adult XS Scott from Start Cycles or Adult (wimmins, but dont tell him!) XS Nike from JE James here, both under £10 and much, much better than the cheap Polaris or Altura shorts

My 13 year old is in a pair of Humvees, mediums, if I remember correct. He's not exceptionally big either.

Thanks for the suggestions, I ordered a pair of basic lycra shorts over the weekend to use as liner shorts, I'll have a look online with him this evening to see what we can find from the suggestions.

Cheers
