Bought one of these a few weeks ago and wore it for the first time yesterday and then again today for a quick road spin (only had the odd hour / hour and a half so not long enough for mtb really).

For £10 plus p&p it’s amazing value. Lighter than the Uvex it replaced, more ventilation and more comfy. The Uvex was over 5 years old and had lost a lot of its comfort - maybe the padding had gone past its best.

The head size adjuster is a bit rudimentary compared to the one on
my Giro Chronicle and even the Decathlon mtb helmet I’ve got but does the job.

The only thing missing compared to the Uvex is some mesh across the front vents to keep flies out.

Is that the Croix?
I had one and can testify that it works - my head bounced off the tarmac in a sportive recently will no Ill affects. Just replaced with a Carnac Notus which is even better value and fits my head better too...

4 in this house, I think they’re brilliant for the price.

Yep, had both a carnac road and an MTB lid for a while, fit and ventilation are good (for my particular noggin) pricing is excellent compared to the "proper" brands...

I'm sure someone will be along to tell us more costly lids are more saferer soon though...

I've had a couple for a while too. Only bought a more expensive one recently cos I wanted MIPS. Whether that makes any difference or not I don't know.

They fit me well, similar to Bell and Giro, so I like them.
