Want an ally frame doing needs to be cheap as chips in gloss black, anybody know of anywhere, closer to Preston/Chorley the better.

hi I had mine done at Burnley bead blasting which is next door to on your bike shop. £30 for white and they did an excellent job.

I've been told by guys who should know, that C & G Finishes Liverpool are 1st rate. Not used them myself, but a quick look at the search engine results shows plenty of recommendations from bikey people for that company.
