Even with maps I'd struggle to know where to go - mcmoonter off of here might know someone who has some route files as he is a fifer.

I'd just go up and follow my nose. There are trails all over the place. You'll easily be able to make a decent length route. I have a few GPX files that may be of some use but its a maze of trails so would only give you a vague idea. Email is in profile

Turn up, ride, get lost, ride some more, enjoy 🙂

really ought to get some GPX's of the route we normally take.

Starting from Glen Tarkie car park is good as the final downhill back is great fun (head north from from Strathmiglo past the Scottish Offroad centre)

i'd follow the advice of turning up and getting lost - all the loops will lead you back to where you've come from. it's not that big so with a bit of commitment you can't miss much. i'd go soon before muckmedden wrecks it completely or wait until after that and follow the mire.

i'd offer to show you round myself but i'm still broken
