Nothing wrong with heavy bikes round Whinlatter, you did remember to go up onto Grisedale Pike of course?

We were up Grisedale pike an friday morning, descent down hobcarton end was brilliant, I can't remember laughing so much while riding in a long time!

Stakes has been worked on in the last few years. Not really a great descent into Langstrath would say it gets used more by locals as a access up. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Yes I though the push up from langdale to stakes looked like a good descent. I enjoyed the day but next time will try reversing the route.

marionheck - yes thought that was you.

Nick you would love Sprinkling Tarn to Styhead then Stockley Bridge. The last bit from the trees at Taylor force gill to Stockley Bridge my fave bit of techy descending in the lakes. But its all good down there. ๐Ÿ˜€

Yup, Ennerdale into Wasdale is ace. Plus it has a very short singeltrack to pub transfer distance
