I saw a cool photo somewhere recently on the internet of a guy in mid crash going over the bars giving a thumbs up, thought it looked pretty legendary! Does anyone have it or know where I could find it?
Thanks!
was it not established that it was staged?
Ye I'd say there's a good chance it was, still made me laugh though! As you'd have to be a pretty darn skilled and lucky photographer to capture that shot.

looks staged to me. Rear wheel wedged on tree, ride balanced on bars with one foot on tree to stop himself falling over. No dust/dirt kicked up, no evidence of any movement in the photo.
I could be wrong, but I reckon it's a fake
if you look you will see the back wheel is bing propped up by the tree, he is to far over and to low over the bars,as if resting on them, and he has girly hair anmd no gloves..
I think it was taken by Ian Linton at an Inners DH race earlier this year and is genuine I believe. Currently trying to find the original report it was in.
If it was genuine, surely there'd be helmet cam footage to go with it?
It's not quite staged IIRC, I think it's post-crash and he/she got stuck like that?
Is it inners? Could be upper Make or Break I guess
Why is the hair not swept back?
Why is the hair not swept back?
Well, if you're crashing, you'll be decelerating and that will throw the hair forewards, not back....
Looks reasonable to me, a lot of fork compression, unless he was running them very soft I wouldn't expect them to compress that much.
not staged, just stuck.
You can see him laughing in the pink bile image.
looks more to me like someone who's come awkwardly to a halt, not someone one who is mid-crash
Not the best conspiracy theory we've had.
