Looking to head up to Penmachno this weekend. Not been in Autumn/Winter for a few years now but the last time I was there at this time of year the extended loop was like a river all the way around. Has the drainage been improved at all?

Cheers

Ian

It's wet in the summer so I'd guess it will be wet.

I'm another big Penmachno fan, but it's always wet!

I don't think I've ever been as cold on a bike as when we rode it in January as the snow was melting and the ice cold water was running down the trails. It took about 2 days before I got the feeling back in my hands and feet

Penmachno is ALWAYS wet, this time of year especially; imagine riding through a stream and you're there.

At least it's always hard underneath the couple of inches of water!

Penmachno conditions at the moment?

There are only two possibilities that you need to consider: Wet or Icy.

It's not icy yet.
