Hi
Just purchased a new spec carve pro 2013.
The thing really I don't like on it is the factory pedals you get with it.
Don't want clip in pedals but some good grippy bmx pedals will do.
Any ideas please?
Nukeproof electrons.
I got a pair as they were reduced in Evans and am very happy. Tough, nice bearings and light.
Initially I was a bit worried them being composite, but am glad I took the plunge. Gave one a right clout on a rock the other day, barely a scratch.

I get on well with my Superstar Nano pedals. Lots of colours, have worn well despite being bashed into rocks, reasonably light and pretty cheap too.
+1 for the nano's, would go for the nano through for ease of pin replacement.
No-brainer....Nano-tech.

+1 for nano tech. cheap, nice and grippy without being too grippy and they get great reviews. lots of blinged out colours to choose from. my girlfriend has matte white which has chipped away quite easily. i have orange and the paint is lots better. but they are great so who cares if the paint wears!
Cheers guys I'll have a look at nano,s then.
I remember having a pair of dmr V8 once. They any good?
I hated my Electrons... Nanos are heavier but IMO far better.
V8s are OK, but no more.
+1 for superstar nanos
Don't waste time, just get these.

Saint.
I just got some Saint's today from my LBS for £50. Just asked them to price match Evans and I was quids in!
Spent a few minutes removing all the spacer washers to have the pins at full length and I'm ready to go.
Wellgo MG-1, loads on ebay for under £30.
The carbon cyles flats are going OK on my downhill bike so far. I'd go for them over superstar.
+1 Wellgo.
Yeah, well I'll revise my opinion on the nukeproof electrons. After about 10 rides they are gonnas. Avoid.
