If we are doing the Kinder loop clockwise and have just passed South Head, planning to stop off in Hayfield, which option is better-
1 Turn right at crossroads on Pennine Bridleway towards Coldwell Clough and then chuck a left at the next junction toward Hayfield or
2 Keep on down the Highgate Road and turn left through Stubbs Farm ?
Thanks again wise ones
first one (as Stubbs Farm is a bit of a grassy uphill drag although once in woods its a good little down) but make where the paths meet you veer left to go back up hill a little and make sure you go past Stones House and Elle Bank and the campsite to get to Hayfield - cracking fast rocky little descent with natural little kickers
Thanks, that's the way I normally go, so will give Stubbs Farm a miss.
