Where's best to park for the day in Patterdale - I've seen the Patterdale Hotel but its £4.50/day

Yep, pretty much the hotel and £4.50 a day is the best bet.

You can park on the road up to Grisedale I think for free, or there is parking in Glenridding in the side streets leading up to Greenside.

Other than that, yeah the car park opposite the Patterdale is best. You can grab a beer in the hotel after then.

Just don't take Junkyard with you. I paid the parking fee while he unloaded the bikes, only after I paid did he realise that he didn't have a chain on his bike. Knob head.

Move along, nothing to see here, def not a club ride 😉

Looking like the hotel then unless that other spot is big enough to fit mine and 'my friends' cars in

Is it a pay and display or something? i.e. if I turned up at 9am how do you go on about paying for the day?

lots of free parking alongside the lake twixt patterdale and pooley bridge. You are on bikes aren't you?
