There are a couple of sellers in Taiwan I've used on ebay to get X10-SL's for £20-25 posted. That would be my recommendation and they arrived quickly too.

I thought it was big enough and well known enough to be sold as a business. I don't think it was worth much over the value of it's assets, but still would have been worth a little more than just selling off it's stock.

How will the ebay auctions end up bargains?

You'd expect more than 200 items if they were closing surely? Refit seems more likely unless everything else has been sold to other buyers

We went in there earlier this year, they seemed busy as.
I remember when they used to be down 'the lane that no one could find' in some farm outbuildings.
I'm really surprised that they couldn't continue.

A bit sudden. [edit] just checked and the last newsletter I got was on the 10th, offering another 10% off Christmas tools.

Oh no! They used to be practically my LBS back in the day. I can remember the row of Merlin ti frames they had hanging on the wall in their old place in Sheriffales.

Looks like most of the bargains have already gone, so much cheap stuff gone through auction already!

Great shame to see them go though 🙁

saw one of their ebay auctions on saturday morning, a track pump for £1.95 with 5.95 delivery. worth a shot for under a tenner. won the auction as I was the only bidder. didnt realise they were a well known shop. sad if theyre closing though...
