I was asked to help clear out a friends garage, as he is currently working in Vietnam, and parents selling the house.
I came across this Park Tools disc mount facing tool, DT-1. However, the end of the part shown is missing... I think. It looks as though it has come off. I have looked online and it appears other DT1 tools have what looks like a protruding bit at the end.
In short, I would like to sell, is it sellable as a whole in full working order? (link to pics below as I cannot seem to put them in this thread)

It looks like that's the cutting head, but it's covered in a transport wax/plastic dip to protect it. Is that covering soft at all? If it is, then try to pull or cut it off and you'll likely find the cutter underneath in good condition.
I feel so silly! I was looking at the others online wondering why this one looked so odd!
