Looking to breathe some new life into an couple of year old carbon full sus frame. Not wanting to spend custom money but want to be using the right product and steps to make it look better than ok.
My eyes see things that aren't right, so would like to be making the best go at this.

Currently its a mix of painted and unpainted UD visible and clear coated. YS paint out of Taiwan I believe for the solid colour areas

Would like to do a couple of colors with decals in the 2nd paint colour, masked and painted vs stick on vinyl.

I know at the very least I need to at least key and degrease the clear coat to accept paint, but wanting to do it properly with plenty of attention to detail, am I better stripping all the old coatings (hours and hours of prep I assume and carbonlift results seem mixed)

Rattle cans and then rattle can 2k clear?
gravity fed paint gun, airbrush?
acrylic, enamel, cellulose?

any input welcome

If you're clear coating the UD, make sure the clear coat has a good UV inhibitor, otherwise the resin will go yellow.
