[Closed] Paging StuE, question about your Giant Reign as posted in picture thread

Hi Stu

Sorry to bother you (no email in profile), but I've just built up a bike using a 2005 Reign 3 frame just like the one you posted in the bike pictures post.

I took it for its first ride on Sat and whilst very pleased with it, I'm getting what appears to be a spike/knock coming through the suspension....I have checked all the pivots/bearings/shock bushes and they all appear fine....no slack/wobble when you compress suspension or pull on saddle etc

If I stand on the pedals and squish the suspension up and down in a regular fashion, no knocking.....if I however do the same with some repeated short sharp compressions, I can hear/feel a kick back but cant locate it?

The Manitou Swinger 3 way is set correctly (to my knowledge), but this is the first platform shock I've had and wondered if it was the shock that could be making the noise?

I'm looking for your experience of ownership to try and track this noise down
