i moved to chelmsford (mum's home town) in 2003, but am now living in Germany.
yup, ask down at Chelmer Cycles on Writtle Rd. haven't been there for ages, though.
i think there is also a group that rides over at Thorndon.
never been much of a 'group' rider myself, though, but it's a good way to find out where the trails are hidden......
