Any good?
Stripped the bolt at the bottom of a DT swiss fork and also knackered the lockout and rebound. Are they good for spares and servicing?
Nightmare when I had an older pace frame.... (RC500).
Didn't want to know me as a customer, even for 'general' enquires about things.
Bugger. I've sent them an email and maybe try somewhere else.
Perhaps the clue is in the name?
Do Pace have any involvement in the DT forks line up these days? If they are importer / distributor then fair question. Always found Pace quite difficult to get hold of by phone or email
They will be able to fix them, no probs. Been brilliantly helpful to me.
Pace no longer have anything to do with DT swiss or certainly do not distribute them any more. I think Hotlines are the distributor. Although there is a chance that they might have spares...maybe.
Just to defend pace, I always found them very helpful and generous but that was a long time ago now, so on idea of modern day experiences.
from pace's website
Our factory trained technicians can now service Scott, DTSwiss, Fox, Rock Shox, Manitou, Marzocchi and of course Pace. From a 1989 Pace fork through to the very latest shocks no matter how old or destroyed you think your suspension is we can refurbish it so it performs as good if not better than the day it was made.
I've not used them, so cannot comment on their quality of service
Great big adverts on this website for their servicing
I've used in the past for fork servicing, they were great. My DT Swiss need servicing so will be sending them to pace
Never had any issues with them, very helpful, quick to respond, no issues. Others have though.
They're pretty reasonable for servicing, and definitely do DT Swiss.
Pace are (once again) the official Warranty and Service centre for DT Suspension (with Hotlines doing sales distribution, as mentioned above).
They are now the official DT Swiss warrenty servicer. I sent them a set of XMM 140s which had already been to Madison, who were useless. Pace were very helpfull and the forks are a lot better.
