As title really. Anyone know somewhere I can leave my car for one night while I wildcamp in the Buttermere area? I could risk a National Trust car park, but they usually say no overnight parking, and I could do without being clamped/fined or whatever they do. Ta.
They get pretty touchy about wildcamping near Buttermere too... Theres signs everywhere saying don't.. 😐
But I'd just leave it in the car park and hope for the best?
I'll be miles away from the Lake, hidden in the hills. Done it plenty of times before, but I've parked further away and therefore walked further than I want to this time around. Plus it's peak season now. Ta anyway.
Yeah, I can see why you choose the area, its pretty spot on around there..
Last time I was up that way(ish) I stayed in The Priest Hole on Dove Crag..
